Currently at Embark Studios in Stockholm. I write gameplay scripts, build editor tools, and sit in the gap between design and engineering -- making sure a good idea actually works when it hits the engine.
I got into games after working as a line cook in professional kitchens. Most of my day is spent in-engine: prototyping, scripting, and figuring out why something that reads well in a design doc doesn’t quite hold up in a playtest.
Before Embark, I worked as a technical designer at Starbreeze Studios. I studied Creative Media and Game Technologies at BUas in the Netherlands, focusing on game design and production, but it's where I discovered I love making things work.
When I’m away from the editor, I’m usually cooking, losing at board games, or deep in a sci-fi novel. The kitchen never quite left -- I still think about food more than is probably normal.
